Supporting Student Production

Production is a project – based learning where students produce a concrete focus on learning. It can serve as a motivator, allow students to work in ways that they prefer, develop real world skills and abilities to communicate and collaborate.
The teacher’s role is to provide guidelines and models of what is expected of the product and plan projects to keep students active in making decisions, working closely with others and provide feedbacks.
Productivity tools are used to upgrade students abilities to create products and solve problems. Students also learn to construct models, concept maps, collect data and generate materials with productivity tools such as digital cameras, video recorders and other software. The tools do not necessarily make learning better or creative but used to fit to make the process more effective and efficient, professional and easier to share.
